Is this year’s fall color more spectacular than usual?
In my yoga class this week, we were talking about the fall color and how vibrant it is this year. Some thought it was the best they’d ever seen in Seattle. Our teacher attributed it to the weather turning quickly from hot to cold, which apparently makes for prime leaf color conditions. What do you think – is this the best year you’ve seen, or do we say that every year?

I usually think little of Seattle Fall, because the colors are not all that vibrant. This year has been superb — my favorite of the last 8 years. I’ve been marveling at the leaves all October.
I definitely think this fall has been considerably more colorful than the past few.
The arboretum/Montlake area was absolutely gorgeous last weekend.
From the view of Discovery Park/Magnolia I have from my place in Ballard, it looks like its plenty colorful there too.
