Slow Food Seattle event at Full Circle Farm

The following just landed in my inbox, and it sounds like a great opportunity to have lunch at one of the best local farms around. I only wish I had heard about it sooner! I met the Slow Food Seattle rep at the Tilth Harvest Fair last weekend, and she said that we’d be seeing a lot more from Slow Food Seattle in the future, which was great news to me.

Sunday, September 14
Fall Lunch on the Farm
Full Circle Farm, Carnation, WA
11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Join Slow Food Seattle this Sunday afternoon for our fourth fall lunch at Full Circle Farm!

Once again we will be enjoying farmer Andrew Stout’s hay-wagon tours, berry picking, and a chili lunch (meat and vegetarian). Stewardship Partners, a Seattle nonprofit dedicated to encouraging and supporting sustainable farming practices will be on hand to let us know about their work with Full Circle and other local farms.

Please bring a favorite Washington wine or beer to contribute to our potluck beverages.  To reduce waste we ask you also to bring a a cup, cutlery and a bowl for your chili.

Bring the kids and bring the parents, this is a fun outing for everyone!
Tickets are $15 for members and $20 for non-members.  Kids 12 and under are free.

This event requires a final headcount, so please don’t delay.  Ticket sales will be available for one more day only.  Please purchase will call tickets at https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/41527.  Information about the farm and directions are available at http://www.fullcirclefarm.com
