Seattle Times suffers company-wide power outage
The power at the Seattle Times has been out all morning, according to a number of sources within the company.
My guess is either they can’t afford their bill anymore, or some disgruntled laid-off employee decided to let ’em have it.
And no, it wasn’t me. Quiet!
I work at the Times in the main building on the corner of Fairview and John. There was an outage in this area and the power at the secondary building on the corner of Boren and Denny went out for some time. My building never lost power, but I did notice that some of the stoplights on Fairview were out for a while and police were out directing traffic at those intersections.
