It’s Snowing

I just looked out of my window here in North Seattle and it’s snowing. And it looks like it’s sticking! If you have plans to go out today be extremely careful. Keep an eye out for black ice and dress warm! Is it snowing by you? Is it changing your plans? Let Seattle MetBlogs know!

It’s snowing in South Lake Union! Although it’s not sticking.

I remember one thing to NOT do in Seattle while it snows, and that is drive! I am originally from Alaska, and can truely say that Seattlites do not know how to drive in the snow! Stay Safe!

It was snowing earlier (6:30PM) on Capitol Hill, but not sticking on the roads. However, we drove up to Phinney Ridge and saw plenty of snow on the roads there!

Definitely echo what Ruth says: people here don’t know how to drive in the snow. Remember when it snowed a good bit a couple of years ago, right after the new year? Tons of accidents on the roads.

Yeah, I’ve been here since Wednesday visiting friends. This is what I saw when I got up this morning in West Seattle, right before I dragged my ass outside to run the Half Marathon.

Meanwhile, Minneapolis has had a record high or two….
