I have big feet

In fact, I come from a long line of large-footed women, among whom my 11s (OK, maybe 11.5s) rank me pretty highly. So I know that shopping for giganto-shoes can sometimes be frustrating and alienating, marred by lines that only run up to size 9 and dainty, snooty little sales staff. Therefore, I note with interest that tomorrow is the Large-Size Shoe Event at the Nordstrom Rack downtown. My big-foot brothers and sisters are guaranteed a wide selection and a warm glow of acceptance … to which I say: Bravo!

I have big feet for being a very small girl, so I have to stay away from anything with square or pointy toes–they make me look like an elf.
