Hey world I’m pleased to meet you…

An imponderable: Every year I approach the Fourth of July with nothing that even remotely resembles a plan but I inevitably have to juggle all the options that show up the instant I wake up? Weirdly cool…
Hey there, my name is Chris, I live in Queen Anne and I’m 29 years old. If this makes me the oldest one posting here then I’ll feel doubly old, since I’ve been blogging since 1998. Yep, up hill both ways, blinding snow, driving rain, typhoons, monsoons at 56.6kbps and we liked it!
*ahem*
I’m originally from Michigan (more on this later, I assure you), lived here for five years and I’m having a blast of it. I publish the occasional ‘zine, make the occasional book, enter the occasional data and drink the more than occasional coffee. I’m a published poet, formerly heavy into the local poetry scene before falling in with a samba drumming group, VamoLa, last year and not looking back. I promise to keep my musical geekery down to a low roar. That’s what my other blog is for.
Oh yes, other blog. Let’s see, there’s my livejournal, because all the cool kids have one, and my other journaling site click tracks, which I’ve been keeping for the aforementioned six years. That’s an intimidating thought, I assure you.
Anyway, that’ll do for an intro. There’ll be more later once I’ve used my planning dartboard to decide what the hell I’m doing today…

I don’t know about anyone else, but I can assure you that you’re not the oldest around here. I’m not much older, having just hit 31 — but I am older. :)
