Federal Way School Board: Apparently Not Getting Enough E-Mail

Because, you see, they’re idiots enough to wade into the crocodile-infested bloggers by “putting a moratorium” on An Inconvenient Truth.

Yeah, this will end well. Real well. I give them 48 hours before the backtracking is in full force.

The money quote, though, comes from the parent pitching the anti-Gore hissy fit, young earther Frosty Hardison. (Who, incidentally, is the reason the Fed Way City Council has a ban on Powerpoint presentations.)

“The information that’s being presented is a very cockeyed view of what the truth is. … The Bible says that in the end times everything will burn up, but that perspective isn’t in the DVD.

Um, the movie’s all about GLOBAL WARMING. That not hot enough for you?

Um, am I misreading the story or did the Federal Way School Board create a rule that affects thousands of families after a single e-mail from one wackjob?

Oh man. I’ve got some e-mailing to do. Federal Way students: look forward to the “all students get candy on Wednesday” rule.

Hey Hello, do these morons have a web address? I spent some time informing some “school directors” outfit about how their award to this bunch for their non-discriminitory approach to education and prohibiting scientific information to young students does not encourage intelligent debate. Although if your name is Larson, and you are on the Board, and you are a Lawyer perhaps it is possible to square that circle.

I would like to have the address of the Board, Mr. Larson, and good old Ed Barney the father of the abortion.

Imagine the nonsence here; it cannot be shown unless there is also shown a CREDIBLE alternative. Now where are they going to get that, from Mr Hardison, who believes that the world is 14,000 years old. The Moron who filed the complaint in the first place.

Please give me an address or two.

    Nils

I agree with Frosty’s position, but not his reasons. Last April 60 climate scientists signed a letter to Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper that stated, in part, “Climate change is real” is a meaningless phrase used repeatedly by activists to convince the public that a climate catastrophe is looming and humanity is the cause. Neither of these fears is justified. Global climate changes all the time due to natural causes and the human impact still remains impossible to distinguish from this natural ‘noise.’”

The debate is not over and you all that believe otherwise are tragically misinformed.

By the way, if schools are looking for someone to present the “other side”, I’d be honored.

Baby Jebus save us all from these crazy religious nutjobs!

When will these people learn that the mythology they believe in isn’t real?

Take a look at his and wife’s criminal records:
    http://dw.courts.wa.gov/index.cfm?fa=home.home

Go to the King County Recorder and you’ll also see some problems with this guy: http://www.metrokc.gov/recelec/records/

    Another Waco coming?
