monopoly decisions

Monopolyseattle In the spring, Parker Brothers asked Monopoly fans far and wide to vote for their favorite urban landmarks to reshape the face of the game [mb]. The votes have been tallied and Seattle will be represented by Pioneer Square in the critical-to-victory New York Avenue spot. Happily, probably out of copyright issues, the image of the Space Needle has been removed from the “Pioneer Square” card. In its place, Smith Tower and the Pioneer Building.

To make gameplay for today’s release of the “Here and Now” version especially Seattle-riffic, you can march around the board using a Starbucks mug instead of the little dog. Poor little dog, tossed away by a caffeine-hungry culture.
