It’s easy to think that authentic, reasonably-priced ethnic food ends at the mid-point of 520. Preets, in Redmond, is doing its part to combat that prejudice, with simple Indian dishes presented in a casual but well-designed environment.

A recent visit for lunch with a co-worker was spent outdoors on their pleasant patio, dining on samosas, raita and other favorites. For those trying to escape the theme-park feel of the Redmond Town Center, the location is a plus as well.
