Eastside Eats: Preets
It’s easy to think that authentic, reasonably-priced ethnic food ends at the mid-point of 520. Preets, in Redmond, is doing its part to combat that prejudice, with simple Indian dishes presented in a casual but well-designed environment.

A recent visit for lunch with a co-worker was spent outdoors on their pleasant patio, dining on samosas, raita and other favorites. For those trying to escape the theme-park feel of the Redmond Town Center, the location is a plus as well.

The worst Indian restaurant I’ve ever eaten in!
Slow, inattentive service. Comically small portions. Drab taste. I went with friends and our meals all came out at different times. The server forgot to bring one of our dishes (and yet still charged us for it). And she brought the bread out after my meal was 3/4 way finished. If you find yourself hungry in front of Preets for any reason, run as fast as you can in the other direction!
i eat here often. I must say on a good day this resturant has one of the best tasting Punjabi food. But they need to be a lil consistent with their service. But still , i would go to preet’s first before going for any other Indian resturant.
