Ah I figured out the difference in info. The Townhall meeting scheduled for Friday (9am) vs the announcement today. There's new info to update too if you want to continue the story.

I've been sitting on this for a few days (and will not reveal all that I know by request) but tomorrow won't be the official start of layoffs, but rather a company-wide meeting to inform the employees (including management, blue badges, contractors, and vendors) what the state of the company is, the predicted future, and the next phases that will be implemented. The rumors of layoffs are not exactly well-founded, at least not for permanent employees. That's all I can say at this time.
