As previously mentioned in a link, Cupcake Royale is moving to Capitol Hill (within walking distance of me!). This fantastic news is now matched by the news that Trophy Cupcakes is also expanding into the U-District community, specifically into U-Village (just a hop-skip-and-jump away from the UW).

I welcome our cupcake overlords in every neighborhood.

    I love cupcakes just as much as the next guy, but I swear they’re going to be this era’s pet rock.

    Cupcakes may be a BTDT sort of thing, but they are still delicious. Cupcake Royale just announced a Salted Caramel cupcake.

    So now we’re combining the cupcake craze with the salted caramel craze. Both may have passed their prime, but I’m still going to pick up a salted caramel cupcake as soon as possible. At least if it’s a trend that should have died a while ago, it’s a delicious trend.
