They’ve placed near the top of just about every poll that would have them [metacritic] and now Pitchfork has named the combination of Fleet Foxes self-titled album and their Sun Giant EP the best “album” of 2008. With that Voltron-like combination of records winning them the top spot, their steady stealthy strategy to take over the music universe seems complete. Nice work, boys.
