I read Priest’s Four and Twenty Blackbirds a few years ago and while I don’t remember a single thing about the novel, I do remember that it didn’t suck.

Kittredge appears to be another contributor to the bloating “supernatural/paranormal/romance/chick-with-gun” category, with her Nocturne City series. I’d like to respectfully request a hiatus, please? NO MORE! No weres, witches, fairies, necromancers, vampires, pixies, or elves for at least two years. No wonder the publishing industry is in a death spiral: everyone is publishing the same @#$* book.
