- I didn’t get into the the Notwist until they’d dosed their hard metal with hefty doses of electronics to rebirth themselves as IDM-infused laptop-pop. That was in something like 2003, and when I first heard their record it was an immediate addition to my “how the world should sound all the time” playlist.
