Fairbank Animal Farm in Lynnwood is a nice little farm visit - open weekends in October. http://www.fairbankfarm.com/pictures.php It seemed like there were fewer good pumpkins this year, but lots of animals to see for the wee ones.

y'all are starting to scare me away from Jubilee...

yayunicorns - I've only seen apple cider donuts on the east coast, I don't know why they don't have them around here. If you're willing to make the hike to Tacoma for fresh-pressed apple cider, there's this: http://www.terrysberries.com/.

ugh, when we went to jubilee last year we waited around for 2 hours for that damn trebuchet and nothing. we did get to see a pig race though, and while kinda cruel, also kinda sweet.

p.s. are there any farms that have FRESH, HOMEMADE apple cider and apple donuts. this was a big thing in michigan, and considering we are the state of apples, i thought we'd have a billion of these. yet, so far, i haven't heard of a single one. help!

We had tons of fun at The Farm last year, without any kids at all. The corn maze gets super, super muddy and slippery if it's been raining, though.
