I guess I’ve been here for two Septembers now, but I didn’t notice last year’s as much… but no kidding- it’s amazing! I told someone the other week that I’m used to thinking of summer as June, July and August, but I think if I just shift that perception back a month to include September, I’ll stop feeling all cranky in June when it’s not sunny and gorgeous…

Believe me Beth, Seattle has noticed! Since you are new here here’s the scoop: September is always the best month in Seattle. Usually no rain, and temps in the mid 70′s to mid 80′s. Anyone that comes to visit this time of year usually want to stay. They just don’t realize it’s the last of it for the long winter of rain and overcast skies. It’s definitely my favorite month in Seattle. Our summer seems kind of offset by a month where we tend to get a decent amount of rain in June, but September makes up for it.
