I hate Squatch. I hate him so much. I'm really ambivalent on the team leaving (as a taxpayer, I have about a zillion other priorities that are more important to me than "support a professional sports franchise"; as an enthusiastic sports fan, I *do* have *some* sympathy for the fans whose team is leaving them) but I'm thrilled to the core that scary Squatch is leaving. I hope the new Seattle SuperSonics (whom I sincerely hope are a privately-funded team) have a mascot who is not the stuff of nightmares.
