I personally like H&M and I think in this economy, they will do well.

Now having said that, I though it was pretty ridiculous how some people purportedly waited outside the mall at 1am for the opening. I was watching the 5 O'clock News and they were interviewing a couple of young ladies (early 20's) and they were bragging about how they were going to go blow their whole pay check today. To me, especially in this economy, it seems like a good time to exercise fiscal responsibility but what do I know.

It's cheap and stylish and frequently adorable, and they tend to run toward European sizing, which is super exciting for people like me who are smaller than the average American and simply can't find things that fit in the vast majority of stores.

Still not going to wait in line in Southcenter to get in, though. I'll go to one on the east coast in a couple of months and wait for the downtown one to open here.

I hate to admit my complete ignorance, but I just don't get the deal with H&M... can some more fashion-savvy person please explain it to me?
