Barack Obama Is The Democratic Presidential Nominee

In his speech tonight, Obama stated “I can stand before you and say that I will be the Democratic nominee for President of the United States.” Hillary Clinton has not officially withdrawn from the race and in her speech tonight, said “This has been a long campaign, and I will be making no decisions tonight“.

In a not-so-surprising turn of events, Seattle’s own Ron Sims not-so-abruptly changed his super delegate vote from Clinton to Obama. A fellow Metblogger declared that “Sims’ change in heart is opportunistic bullshit. He *always* takes the easy way out. Always.

    Nice thing about the Dems is you can always count on them to be as divided as they are out of touch. Obama goes down harder than Dukakis. After a lot of fancy lip service, of course.
