Mariners

The Seattle Times said it best:

Just two months ago today, the Mariners began their 2008 season with hopes of contending for a division title. Today, all they are contending for is the No. 1 overall pick in next year’s draft, which is automatically awarded to the worst team in the major leagues.

    No way. I said it best.

    I kid. But it’s been entertaining to read the sports pages lately. Anyone still holding on to a shred of hope for this season is clearly deluding themselves.

    Yeah um do people actually get worked up about who wins a baseball game? I thought it was all just a big extended physics lesson sponsored by chewing tobacco companies.
