I love you Seattle
Even though you don’t have 88 degree water in early May, even though you lack the ability to support the growth of fully-laden citrus trees (grapefruit, lemons, kumquats, limes, oranges), and even though you are unable to decide whether it’s winter or spring yet, I love you.
Why do I love you?
Your water doesn’t leave a nasty taste in my mouth. I can drink directly from the tap, unfiltered, and love every precious drop of the water that comes from your wonderful mountain runoff. I love you Seattle. I promise I will never move to California and forsake you. I’m coming home.

Heh. I went to college in Davis and loved it (well, until I moved up here and discovered how much better it was up here). I do miss all of the bike paths though.
I felt the same exact way when I had to stay in Venice, CA for 2 months. After getting sick there 4 times and never really seeing any movie stars, I was so happy when I got to Seattle and it was raining. God bless this city.
