		<description>McDonald&#039;s selling espresso is probably the best thing to happen to Starbucks in a long time.

1.  It appears to have had the effect of re-focusing Starbucks on the quality of their coffee.
2.  It automatically makes null any arguments suggesting Starbucks is the McDonald&#039;s of the espresso world.  Now, &lt;em&gt;McDonald’s&lt;/em&gt; is the McDonald’s of the espresso world.  This magically alters (and elevates) their perception in the eyes of consumers.  Carrying around a Starbucks cup doesn’t seem so bourgeois anymore.</description>
