The Dalai Lama’s footsteps

I didn’t see the Dalai Lama’s opening panel at Hec Ed this morning, but his presence was felt nonetheless. Mixed in with the students at UW campus are kids of all ages, Buddhists, curiosity-seekers, and many more. It’s a fun time, bar the extra traffic.

Though I have to admit my first thought when I heard he was in town was this: Please let his visit be safe.

He’s over at Key Arena right now and will be so for the rest of the day, including that “Concert for Compassion” with Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds later this afternoon:
