It’s no Sasquatch.

When did festivals without music start charging money? First, Vegfest sweeps in at $5 a head. Then, the Green Festival wants me to fork over $15 so I can find out every single way I’m killing mother earth. And they’ll probably want me to buy things once I’m inside, like cars made out of recycled paper or some shit like that.

Don’t these festivals know we’re all getting laid off? Ugh.

I was thinking the same thing! With vendors paying for booths to sell us stuff at the Green Festival AND a $15 entrance fee… someone is getting rich off of telling us about the environment.

Everybody’s feeling the pinch, so they raise prices and we lower spending. Something’s gotta give…

The $5 for Vegfest is actually worth it, because you get so many free samples of food. Seriously.

The green festival, on the other hand… I went to one in DC while I was living there, and a friend gave me free tickets. Definitely not worth $15.

I can see Vegfest charging (plus it’s only $5), but $15.00 for someone to make me feel guilty and try to make me buy more stuff? Lame.
