Traffic Alert - Viaduct Closed This Weekend
Just a quick reminder for all of those who might want to travel on the Alaskan Way viaduct tomorrow or Sunday. You can’t.
The viaduct is closed for its semi-annual inspection from 6 am to 6 pm, Saturday and Sunday. In addition, the Battery Street tunnel will be closed from 6 am Saturday through 6 pm Sunday.
Plan your drive alternately. Like, you know, how you’d drive if the viaduct is ever replaced by the surface street option.
