Josh got your hopes up in January, I’m here to dash them in March. Groupee, the local software company which had agreed to purchase the Crocodile Café premises, has apparently pulled out of the deal.

Nobody was ever really sure what the software company, which previously went by the name Infopop, was going to do with the serving and performance space. They had applied for both restaurant and liquor licenses, however, before abruptly canceling both applications. Reading between the lines, the PI seems to think the building’s a teardown case.
