Pasco scalping

Did any of you redheads leave part of your scalp in Pasco recently? You might want to check, because a puppy in Pasco found a piece of scalp in its yard this weekend, and brought it home. (I checked, and mine is still intact.)

“At this point it appears to be human,” police Capt. James Raymond told the Tri-City Herald on Tuesday. “We’re taking a leap that the person it belongs to probably is not alive.”

Police went door to door in the east side of this central Washington town for about five hours Monday to ask neighbors if they had seen any red-haired strangers in the area lately [PI].

I know that I would not be pleased to answer the door only to find a few police officers standing on the doormat with a piece of scalp in hand. They originally thought it might have come from a stolen body parts kit used for training police dogs, but that proved to be false. It’s gone to the crime lab, but in the meantime if you know of any redheads who might have gone to Paso lately, you might want to check in on them.
