  • All of a sudden, everything’s coming up streetcar in Seattle. Maybe the “studies” [p-i] can remind us why they’re worthwhile. • It’s nice to know that someone else misses Aveo. [tig]
  • Point Break Live survives beyond its NWFF roots, conquering L.A. and N.Y.C. [hotsplice]
  • Sub Pop favorites the Thermals recorded a few songs—including a Wipers cover—for your listening pleasure. (ed: now if only someone would put out a tape from their karaoke show in New York…) [daytrotter via idolator ]
  • On the joys of cabaret booth snarkery. [rockingtheboat]

    1. Thank you for linking the Thermals songs.

    2. Not only did CHS compliment the Capitol Hill library, they complimented the initially-praised but lately much-maligned Central Library. These people are obviously biased in favor of libraries.
