Had enough of the snow and colder than average temperatures? If so, you’re probably not going to like the forecast this weekend.

If you’re in dire need of a vacation from this cold, you have a couple of options.

2. Head out to the Seattle Travel Show this weekend. More on the travel show after the jump.

This weekend, over 130 travel companies and even more travel agents and other professionals will be at the Seattle Center Expo Hall. You’ll find travel deals, seminars, and contacts. The grand prize giveaway is a trip to Maui. Trust me on this one… Maui is a great cure for those long Seattle Winter Blues.

Saturday at 3, you can listen to local travel celebrity Rick Steves give a talk on travel as a political act.

Whether your next travel destination is halfway around the world or just a few hours away, you’ll certainly find some excellent information this weekend.
