Goodbye Rainer Cold Storage

This is the latest look at the tear-down in progress at the Rainer Cold Storage building in Georgetown. It’s a shame it had to come down at all, but they are sure making it come down FAST!

Wow. I know it was unsafe and there wasn’t much that could be done about it but it’s sad.

I was actually outside of Jules Maes this past weekend while they were actually tearing it down and even though it’s sad to see such old structures be torn down, it looked really cool as they did it by the lights of the construction site.

Agreed Nichole. I was thinking that same exact thing and I was heading back from just seeing Cloverfield. Didn’t sleep very well for some reason….
