holy shit! somebody just bought the crocodile, maybe.
The Seattle Times is reporting [#] that Groupee, a software development company [wiki], filed an application to take over the Crocodile Cafe’s liquor license. Formerly Infopop, they’ve been around for ten years and have experience in “enterprise hosting for online communities”. At this point no one from the company is confirming anything and former (?) Crocodile owner Stephanie Dorgan is going on a month of “being unavailable for comment”.
Will they re-open and re-hire staff? Will they turn it into a software development lounge? Will it be a real-life place for those online communities? Who knows!? Developing.

This would be awesome.
It would be great if it was something like the old Speakeasy lounge. I miss that place.
