friday agenda: galaxy of pain, street art

- To raise money for Home Alive, a Seattle-based violence prevention and self-defense teaching organization, Blush Photo and friends convened a slate of local notables and put them in the ring for good old fashioned wrestling matches. See the photographs of the events, rub elbows with celebrities, bid on fabulous prizes in a silent auction and help a good cause. $20, mcleod residence [galaxy of pain]
- the Anne Bonny is bringing street art inside for an exhibition show of “collage, paint, glue, wood, and anything else” that might belong on the walls of a city. The gallery will be covered with 2 x 2 foot squares of masonite that will evolve over the course of the month. See it from the beginning at tonight’s opening. While you’re there, try your best to resist taking home the giant plush figures in the window. 8 - 11 pm, the Anne Bonny [seattlestreetart]
