preminder: metroblogging meetup this thursday

Hey there, devoted readers with the second Thursday of the month pre-circled on you calendars: it’s once again time for the Metroblogging Seattle meetup. Super fun times! Some of us! I hear that carnivores enjoy the poutine, but I’m fond of their inclusion of Leffe Brune on tap. Here you go:

It’s almost new author recruiting season; so if you’re interested in joining the fun, stop by to discuss ideas. Otherwise just drop in to say hello, yell at us about glaring omissions, or just to admire the taxidermy [mb]. Hope to see you there.

(yes, yes, we know that there’s another blog with a meetup that night but we’ve been having these meetups on the second thursday of the month since before Slog even existed and unlike the electorate and every presidential candidate, we fear change. we’re working on it.)
