at least someone likes the streetcar
… and that someone is Nicole Broduer, who praises it because: (1) it makes the city look like a slower version of the Jetsons nearly fifty-year-old vision of the future, (2) it is more fun than hand-wringing over other transit decisions, (3) it saves people from waiting for a bus on wheels or walking a mile, and (4) it represents, by the narrowest of definitions, “progress” in that it was planned, started, and finished. [times]

Yeah, any look at Nicole Brodeur IRL will tell you that she probably hasn’t walked a mile total in her entire life. There are transients with more relevant civic opinions than her’s.
That makes one for yay and a lot of others for nay.
