Those looking to run for the border at the northern edge of Capitol Hill will now need to look elsewhere. The Taco Bell on Broadway, forever enshrined in the annals of Seattle History for its cameo appearance in Sir Mix-a-Lot’s “Posse on Broadway” video [youtube [3]] and for far too many late night food choice bad decisions quietly closed its doors on the last day of 2007.
With Tacos Guaymas consolidating its forces to their Pike/Union location, La Puerta moving to the Broadway Market, Bimbos moving to 10th, and El Tajin setting up shop, this makes 2007 a major year for realignment of Mexican food on Capitol Hill.
