The Decemberists , who had to cancel their big “long and the short of it” series of two concerts per city due to bandmate illness, seem to have rescheduled for the Pacific Northwest. You’ll find them in Seattle at the Moore on the 30th and 31st of January and in Portland on the 22nd and 23rd at the Crystal Ballroom. I hope they’re still splitting the epic from the concise. I was counting on an evening of their short pop gems to help me rekindle my love for the band.
