i have been a fan of their site since inception and was conflicted on whether or not i wanted to know who they were. at times, i would go to events and make a guess at who i thought they were. i did it. i read their “about us” section and am glad i did. they are a vital and necessary site here in west seattle. the information they provide is more credible, efficient and usuable than from any other source around. here’s to wsb!!!!!!! a huge holiday hug to tracy, patrick and their junior member! west side…the best side…..
I so already knew that. But couldn’t say. I’m glad they’re finally out and proud.
Now if we could only get to the bottom of who these mysterious metrobloggers are…

Well, any attempt to rally myself from Anita’s death has been squashed by having one of our great blogging mysteries solved. Might as well call it a day.
And “mysterious metrobloggers?” Geez, dude, you’ve met me. We’re as mysterious as a can of peas.
But wait! Are there really peas in that can???? Hmmmmm…..
I am much more mysterious than a can of peas.
Well, ok, maybe not much. But a little bit, anyway.
Dylan, we are actually chagrined about our “news” happening in the same news cycle as Anita’s death. We didn’t find out she had passed away until a couple hours after grandiosely hitting “publish” on our stuff — we signed into Facebook this afternoon and saw it mentioned in your status, and that’s how we got the news. (So Web 2.0!) Patrick went to many a meetup with Anita and some of the oldschool Seattle bloggers way back when. We had been checking in on her site from time to time lately to see how her fight was going but obviously not recently enough to realize she was on the verge.
