This is a good weekend to be a sports fan in Seattle
| Congratulations go to the Women’s Basketball team at Seattle University who won their seventh game in a row last night, beating Evergreen State College 73-53. That’s Forward/Center Quinn Brewe in the photo from SU’s team site, a junior from Edmonds. The women’s team doesn’t have another scheduled match until December 19 when they take on BYU Hawaii in Laie, HI, but the men’s team have an exhibition game Saturday night versus Douglas College at home at the Connolly Center. | ![]() |
Across town at Brougham Pavillion ,SPU’S women’s basketball team plays Sonoma State and Chico State tonight and on Saturday as part of the CCAA/GNAC challenge.
Don’t forget the Huskies: The women’s basketball team faces Boise tonight (in Boise so you’ll need to turn on the radio 1150 AM) and the men’s basketball team meets Pittsburgh Saturday here at home.
if anyone still cares about the SuperSonics, they play Milwaukee tonight at Key Arena and travel to New Orleans Sunday.
The Seahawks are home Sunday for a game against Arizona.
I’m most psyched for the Seattle Thunderbirds’ games this weekend. They’re down in Portland (Portland sucks) tonight (game broadcasted on AM 1150) and are back home to play Portland Saturday and Chilliwack Sunday.
