| When I first took up painting on a serious level, I worked at it morning, noon and night. Eventually, though, I got distracted by other things in life and my output has trickled to virtually nil. I am very glad that this hasn’t happened to Andrea Heimer, one of my favorite local artists–although she’s only been painting since 2006 she already had an extensive portfolio of work. Her bright, visually-stirring “neopop” works are always eye-catching–check them out for yourself at her “Dangerous” show at Galactic Boutique , opening November 2. |
