Ship symphony
I’m not sure exactly what’s going on, but at noon the ships on the east side of Lake Union, down by NOAA, started playing a sort of symphony with their horns and sirens. At first I thought it was a coincidence, that a couple of them were just blowing their horns at the same time, but the sound quickly resolved itself into an actual song. It only lasted for a minute or two, but it was lovely and haunting and I wish they hadn’t stopped.
Anyone have any idea just what that was about? And when it might happen again? I wish they’d do it every morning so I could wake up to that instead of my alarm clock.
