• Grand Illusion: Classic slasher flick Don’t Go Into the Woods…Alone joins Llik Your Idols, a documentary about the “No Wave” movement in NYC (Sonic Youth, Lydia Lunch, The Swans, et. al) and Punks Not Dead, a documentary that examines what “punk” really means.
• Midnight at the Egyptian: Rushmore: “A precocious teenager and a jaded tycoon become bitter romantic rivals for the affections of a widowed teacher. “
• The Seattle Gay & Lesbian Film Festival continues at Northwest Film Forum.
• SIFF: Lake of Fire, a documentary about abortion that attempts to look at all sides of the often-contentious issue.
