BOO! Metblog Halloween Countdown: Day 12

DAYS UNTIL HALLOWEEN:

DRINK:

Mad Eye Martini

1/2 oz Hpnotiq liquor
1 oz Premium vodka
2 oz Lychee juice

For Eyeball Garnish:
1 canned grade AA lychee in syrup, drained
1/4 tsp cherry, strawberry or raspberry preserves
1 blueberry

Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Dry a lychee and fill it with preserves. Place a blueberry, blossom end facing out, into the cavity. Skewer with a cocktail pick and garnish martini with the skewered eyeball.

Eerie Eyeballs

This sweet party treat combines lemon gelatin, cream cheese, marshmallows and pineapple juice to make realistic looking eyeballs that look pretty freaky. Great for a Halloween party!

GO:

Bump eyeballs with the best of them at a ClubCorp Charity Classic masquerade ball held at Columbia Tower Club. ClubCorp hopes to raise more than $5 million for four causes–Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation, benefiting breast cancer research; Muscular Dystrophy Association and “Augie’s Quest,” benefiting research to cure Lou Gehrig’s disease; the Pro Golf Association Foundation, helping under-privileged and handicapped children have access the game of golf and the ClubCorp Employee Partners Care Foundation, which helps employees in need through private donations and individual fundraisers. The masquerade ball will begin with a cocktail reception at 6:30pm with dinner to follow. Black tie and gowns are requested, masks are required. Reservations required. $150
