Giant toilet found!

I do have to say this for you, Seattle: you do tend to return/abandon/incompetently hide the weird shit that you take, so it’s almost always found and a happy ending provided.

This is the case with the Crapster, the giant rolling soapbox toilet that was stolen along with the U-Haul it was sitting in a few weeks ago [mb]. It was found by the police yesterday under a tarp in the 18600 block of Southeast Lake Young’s Road. “Upon finding the toilet, Urquhart said Neely yelled out,”Holy crap, it’s a giant toilet!” The giant toilet was stolen while loaded up in the back of a truck, which was also stolen. Urquhart said there was no sign of the truck near the recovered toilet. The truck is presumably still stolen, he said [KOMO].”

We know that last part’s not true, though–the truck was recovered, according to Team Crapster in the comments of our post about it. Still, we’re glad to hear that the toilet has also been found and can be returned to its rightful owners, in order to gain further glory elsewhere. Maybe next time with a sign on the back of the truck explaining that there’s no furniture inside, just a big carpeted toilet on wheels.

(Thanks for the tip, Manuel!)
