Weatherpocalypse season returns
It feels like just yesterday, doesn’t it, that we were all getting hysterical about the weather? (With good reason, occasionally, but still.) Well, now it’s that time again! Depending on which way a storm off the coast goes, we could be seeing high winds tomorrow afternoon–20 to 30 mph, with gusts up to 60 mph.
Of course, if the storm goes up toward Vancouver Island, nothing untoward will happen hereabouts. That’s what’s so great about weatherpocalypse time! You never know what will happen!
If there are winds and your power goes out, please remember not to burn charcoal grills inside [mb]. That’s how the hospitals ended up treating 300 people for carbon monoxide poisoning after last year’s big storm.

As silly as it is, I have to admit that I get a little excited when the local news starts going apeshit about FALL BLAST 07.
Plus, there’s always a chance that a piece of wind-whipped corrugated metal might fly out of nowhere and decapitate Jim Foreman during one of his inevitable on-location reports.
holy. just think of what a tragic on scene on camera decapitation would do for ratings!
