- Josh thinks you should get all international this weeked by heading to Neumos on Friday to see French electronic dance duo Justice [MS] and on Saturday to see English artist Patrick Wolf [MS] on Saturday.
- Neumos is cool and all but I’ll be spending my Friday and Saturday evenings down at the Key Arena to see the Seattle Thunderbirds take on the Tri-City Americans Friday at 7:35 and the Kamloops Blazers Saturday at 7:05.
- Between hockey games I’ll be getting up really, really early in the morning on Saturday to do some volunteer work. If you’d like to do some volunteering of your own, the Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring their second annual Capital Hill Street Sweep: meet up at the shelter house at Cal Anderson Park (1635 11th Ave) between 9 am and 9:30 am to join a crew that will hti the streets of Capitol Hill to clean up graffiti, remove old posters from light poles, sweep up litter and clean windows. Volunteers get a free t-shirt along with coffe and pastries from Starbucks and a lunch afterwards supplied by Pagliacci Pizza. Cleaning supplies will be provided.
- If you missed the recent Hillstomp show at Connor Byrne, you have a chance to see them at the Tractor on Friday along with Dept. of Energy, Young Sportsmen [MS], and Caleb Thompson.
