It’s a Beautiful World

Opening at BLVD Gallery (2316 Second Ave, Seattle) on Friday, 10/12: Scion’s Art Tour 4.

Scion, a brand of cars manufactured by Toyota, launched the Scion Art Tour back in 2003 to get themselves some press and goodwill by sponsoring a touring installation of works by independent artists and is designed to give exposure to both established and emerging artists. This year’s show features works based on its theme “It’s a Beautiful World” imagined as collage, photography, painting and sculpture by a diverse list of artists that includes Kelsey Brooks, Jeff Soto, Angela Boatwright and Rammellzee.

The show runs from 10/12 through 10/24 at BLVD. If you get a chance, stop by between 6 and 10 pm on the 12th for their opening party when artists Chris Yormick, Franceso LoCastro, Kofie, and Yoskay Yamamoto will all be in attendance. Music will be provided by DJs Risk and Evil One.
