Council lets Seattleites get their goat

| Regular readers may have noticed that we sure love goats around here; that’s why I’m so pleased to announce that the Seattle City Council unanimously voted to allow Seattle residents to keep goats as pets within city limits. Within other limits, too–goats must be miniature sized (between 50 and 100 pounds), licensed, neutered, and de-horned. Goats will not be allowed in off-leash areas or anywhere outside the owner’s yard unless being loaned to a neighbor for lawn services. |
