Seahawks sell out special seats
The Puget Sound Business Journal reports that the Seattle Seahawks have sold out all 80 of the new “Cadillac Reserve Club” season tickets they created this year in association with Cadillac. The $5,000 per person seats include seats for the games as well as all-inclusive food and beverage service for all 10 games. The games will have a rotating menu throughout the season so ticketholders won’t be stuck having the same ol’, same ol’.
I think this is a clever marketing scheme on the part of the Seahawks, but when I read it, I found myself thinking that I sure wouldn’t want to spend that kind of money on a football season ticket. Well, okay, I’m not particularly interested in pro football, but even if there were an equivalent for the sports I do follow, I’m not sure I’d be into it, either. Just how much do people really eat and drink at games, anyway?
So here’s my question to you, sports fans. If you could pay extra for a special “all you could eat and drink” ticket for your favorite sports team, would you?

Half the reason people go to sporting events is because it’s an easy excuse to indulge in junk food and lots of alcohol.
If I had the kind of money where I could spend five grand on season tickets? Yeah, I’d do it. Either that or commission a glorious bronze statue of myself riding a two-headed brahma bull.
How much are season tickets normally? Whats a ticket about 10 rows up on the 50-yrd line run?
