weekly covers cougars, loves capitalism
What’s going on over at the Seattle Weekly? Last week, it was “We Love Capitalism” for their “Best of Seattle” [#] feature. And this week, a cover story [#] about cougars of the northwest and the delicate shifting relationship between “predator” and “prey”. Is it just me, or is this two consecutive weeks of kind of funny mixed with knowing their audience?
If nothing else, Huan Hsu deserves credit for diving deep into the bar and weirdly extensive [!] web scene and making it out alive.
update: It looks like cougar-watch was Hsu’s last hurrah at the Weekly. According to the managing editor, “he left amicably to move to Shanghai to work on a long-awaited book project that has to do with his 96-year-old grandmother in China.”
